Happy Thanksgiving

This is one of my all-time favorite holidays. It gets lost in the shuffle between Halloween and Christmas nowadays, but it shouldn’t. To me this is the day when you put aside negativity, forget about the stress of that stack of bills and upcoming gifts, set aside hurt feelings and just remember everything in life that is good. It’s a time for treasuring those things in life that are truly important to family and friendships.

Do me a favor, ignore those blasted commercials and emails about what might be on sale – just for today and concentrate on what really matters. I’m thankful for the time you took to read this, the fur-babies on my lap making me twist at an odd angle to type it, the coffee in my cup and for the opportunity for the reminder to stop and be thankful.

You are wonderful, and I’m so thankful for you too!
